ok so im gonna try nick this internet for free for a little bit longer. the flight was good - double decker airplane! totally mental. we got here earlier than expected, at like 7 in the morning (here time) and so we couldnt even check into our hotel for hours cuz the rooms werent ready. hong kong is way nicer than i expected, its all like mad and compact and twisty and wierd but not that intimidating at all and wev pretty much got lost loads of times already but its alright. our tour guide this morning even recommended to that we get lost for fun! theres not many tourists around tho at all, and wer getting proper dodgy looks, especially when wer quite open with our disgust at some of the wierd foods they have - we wlaked into what we thought was a sweet shop and found such tasty snacks as fish scales and dried 'cuttlefish feelers'. mmm, feelers. the shopkeeper starting grunting at us, dont think she was impressed.

had a bit of a disaster, the suncream in my suitcase burst and just about wrecked my clothes... (how could i forget that) not too bothered tho we managed to get most of it off them and theyr all hanging drying in my room now BUT it also went all over my CAMERA CHARGER which now appears not to be working........ do not know what i will do about this. pretty gutted, almost cried but was too knackered and fell asleep instead. ill probably cry tomorrow when im feeling more normal.
